What is Con-G?
Con-G is a weekend convention filled with standard convention stuff like a masquerade, panels, games, and other events… except it’s online from the comfort of your home.
Our first virtual year was 2021, and we were looking to bring some of that convention fun to people stuck at home in response to the loss of conventions due to lockdowns from COVID-19. Attendees enjoyed it, so we kept going, making it bigger and better every year!
We are a non-profit, completely volunteer-run organization. Funds raised help us cover event costs, and all net proceeds are donated to the Canadian Mental Health Association (CMHA) National.
