Theresa (Teri)/Cilsheria was one of the founders of OG Con-G back in 2009. When Lindsay and some other friends came back from a convention saying ‘we could have run something better than that’, it was Cil who crunched the numbers and said ‘we actually could, you know’ and the rest is history. The resident planner, she’s the one who annoys people by nagging them to work on Con-G before January. Cil and her sister Amy/Kia live together and are owned by 3 cats. Lover of villains, puzzles, and secret identity tropes. You can find her writing the murder mystery, making cocktails, or hanging out in the jigsaw puzzle room.

The Ultimate Doesn’t-Think-Things-Through, Nick T is a lover of all things time-travel, bunnies, and, in his own words, “Anime BS” (affectionate). By day, a software developer, and by night … uh, also a software developer, but also also a streamer, podcaster, voice actor, and whatever sparks his interest! Nick joined Con-G during its digital incarnation as a presenter and now is part of staff to help make it easier for folks to run their own programming!

Manda Whitney is a Toronto based writer, actor, narrative designer, gamer, fraud investigator, and eater of pie. She is obsessed with all things narrative, and will talk to you for hours on end about it if you give her the opportunity. So beware. When she is not consuming narrative, she is solving mysteries, whether through her day job as an investigator or through video games, which she sometimes streams. She also will accept pie as payment.
Lulu A La Mode is a Master-level cosplayer, who has been cosplaying for 14 years and has made some amazing friends during her journey. Lulu is a performance-based cosplayer, who has experience working with EVA foam, thermoplastics and resin—however, her main skill is sewing. She loves all things glitter, sparkle, and has three cute rabbits.

One of the OG Con-G Staff whose silly idea of getting rid of Masquerade ribbons somehow morphed into Con-G:Geeks@Home because you know that’s how she rolls and how her house became the base of operations for Con-G:Geeks@Home. Mom of two amazing kids, partner of Dave the Paramedic and a collector of animals (she’s a crazy horseperson too). Dart is a master level cosplayer who loves her creature costumes and challenging herself to make non-creature costumes as well. She loves to paint, do art stuffs and doodle, like bringing Kon our mascot to life. She loves the warm, welcoming family feeling that fan-run conventions give to attendees and strives to replicate that online.

Emily Gonsalves is the founder and head organizer of the Pretty Heroes convention, which is the first fandom/pop culture convention in Canada that prioritizes strong female characters. An experienced panelist, Emily has been a speaker at a variety of fandom events, hosted interactive games and workshops, as well as moderated Q&As with special guests. You can see her at many events in the GTA (and sometimes beyond), often with an assortment of her event crew and her daughter

Photographer, cosplayer, geek.

Dan joined the Con-G team about the time of the con’s digital resurgence as an online event. As a similar digital inhabitant, Dan was thrilled add his knowledge of motion graphics and video editing to the staff’s repertoire. And as an old school fan of Con-G’s classic IRL days, Dan couldn’t be happier that one of his favorite local cons has continued to thrive. Where else would he get the chance to enthusiastically overshare his love for geeky television shows, video games, and far, FAR too many memes? Find Dan in Con-G’s Discord server year-round and share some laughs with this loud, manic, lovable man-child!

Chris and Martin have been turning 2D to 3D since they met in1987. As Cosplayers, propmakers, creators, performers, and speakers with an extensive resume in film, television, and live entertainment, they have brought many a thought and concept to life within their entertainment industry experience.

Captain Pira is a jack of all trades and master level cosplayer with 20 years of experience sharing WIPs, tutorials, patterns, redesigns and entering masquerades. She’s a sewing-main who’s love of learning new techniques extends to fabric manipulation, prop making and extreme wig styling. If she hasn’t tried something yet, it’s probably on her never-ending cosplay backlog. She uses cosplay as an outlet for stress and to escape screen time by making the digital real.

C-chan (she/they) is a cosplayer, crafter, baker, tea enthusiast, team mom, cat wrangler, blue ranger, singer of many songs, and an all-around nerd. Over the past twenty years, she’s run panels on shows from Ace Attorney to Yuri!!! on Ice, and concepts from Found Family to Cosplay on a Budget, as well as a handful of special events and game shows. Past panels for Con-G include Tokusatsu 101, High Tea @ Con-G, and the Toku to BL Pipeline. They look forward to another great year of Con-G, and hope to see you there!

While only on joining Con-G staff in recent years, Kia is not new to Con-G, having some insider knowledge from hanging out with her sister on staff, and attending since year one where she entered her first ever costume masquerade! Kia is a master level cosplayer specializing in obscure side characters and costumes held together by hopes and duct tape. She is also a digital artist, pineapple lover, fan of digimon, and huge Fire Emblem nerd.
